Step 1: Approach

We start by defining a tailored approach through a consultation to understand your objectives, budget, return expectations, and risk profile. From there, we develop a preliminary concept that defines the project scale and number of units and allows us to estimate construction costs. This helps us select a suitable plot of land that is within your budget.

Step 2: Confirm the land title is clean

Buying land in Zanzibar can be complex if it isn’t handled properly. Boundary disputes, competing ownership claims, and unclear documentation can quickly turn a “good deal” into a costly delay. We manage this risk by working closely with the relevant local authorities and conducting thorough checks to ensure the land’s title is clean, verifiable, and fit for the intended development.

Once a project direction has been established, we move into design development. After design approval, we will proceed to the detailed design which includes all of the technical drawings and structural analysis. Once completed we will get your final approval before creating a detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities).

Construction Oversight

During this phase we work closely with the contractor and stay personally involved on site to ensure quality standards are maintained and deadlines are met. Successful projects in Zanzibar depend on more than construction alone, so we manage the practical factors that protect the long term outcome, most importantly, climate appropriate material selection to ensure the build performs well in coastal conditions over time. Strong project management ties everything together, keeping decisions, timelines, and budgets controlled.   • Basic package includes cleaning services, all maintenance service and garden care.
  • Premium package offers all of the services from the basic package with the addition of managing the rental of your property, check ins and check out, & additional deep cleaning and inventory checks in between guests.
